The problem with this new OS it's that dosen't support older DirectX like those used by this game. Follow the instruction in this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/aceonline/comments/5e4osb/how_to_fix_ace_online_low_fps_on_windows_10/ I report it, just in case some day the link dosen't still work ;) "After an update called Windows 10 Anniversary update... there were a bunch of programs and files that got upgraded with it... included was the Directx9 (d3d9.dll) which ace online and most other older games still runs on... Also the old directx9 that came with the game wasn't running stable on new windows like 7,8 and 10... but there is a middle ground for everything... Download the verison called: 10.0.10240.16412 - 32 Bit (x86) [It doesn't matter if you're on 32bit or 64 bit system...just make sure you get that exact one... cous I've tryed the other ones and they don't work] drag the d3d9.ddl from the .zip to your ace online file where ACEonline.exe and ACEonline.atm is located so it will look something like this: C:\Suba Games\ACEonline\d3d9.dll When you start the game... you should noticed a huge difference in FPS and the city lag which you barely notice now if it worked for you..." The GameFolder path on computer it's different: C:\Program Files (x86)\MasangSoft\AceOnline_IT\ (I have the Italian version ;D) It works for me.. Enjoy and tells to the others ;)! |
